Saying Goodbye to Himalayan Hope Home

The night we left the Himalayan Hope Home will forever be one of the most memorable moments of the trip. The girls of the Hope Home had put on a ceremony for the SStS group, which eventually led to an emotional good-bye. Many tears were shed and many hugs were shared as we said good night, but one small moment will forever live in my memory. As I was hugging one girl for the last time, she pulled back, wiped away her tears, and told me something I will never forget. “Please don’t cry. I want you to always be happy.”
