This morning we stopped by a nunnery where Tempa, our guide, explained aspects of Buddhism to our group during a tour of a famous monk’s room.
Lunch at a Chinese restaurant led us to an orphanage where we played basketball and other games. Playing with the orphans was a lot of fun because we were able to connect to the kids through the sport even without a common language.
