Today, we woke up to an amazing breakfast of pancakes and fruit. After we fueled up, we boated over to the main island in Bocas, Isla Colon. There, we met Emily, the Give and Surf director and she took us over to the Recycling center. Edwardo walked us through the center and taught us all about there recycling program here in Bocas and even let us use the glass crusher. We then had free time to walk around Main Street and indulged in coffees, smoothies, and souvenirs. After lunch, We took turns jumping off of the dock and the higher part of the sock next to the restaurant. We boated back to and San Cristobal to help educate the kids. In Bastimentos we led them in math and English then played futbol with them at the end. In San Christobel, our group braved the heat and played in small groups. The kids love playing soccer, duck duck goose, drawing, word search, and taking photos on our camera. Once we all regrouped, we side-quested to a small beach on the end of the island of Bastimiento and played in the waves until dinner. We capped off the night at a local restaurant. It was another great day and we can’t wait for tomorrow!
