Today we had breakfast as always, and after that we had the opportunity to listen to the founder of Give and Surf (the non-profit we are workin with) explain his work, motivation, and ideas for the future. His words were very inspiring and encouraged all students to take full advantage of this opportunity. Afterwards we went on a quick hike on Bastimentos that led us to the beach, which was beautiful but we didn’t swim as the current was too strong. We lesson planned there and hiked back to the hotel. We went to lunch, then the group split to do their volunteer work with the kids in San Cristobal and Bastimentos. After spending time with the children we had dinner. Fortunately, we got to experience a fun kids hangout and better understand what they do at night. We went home and hung out than went to bed. Super fun day!!!
