This was our last day at the Arhaus Children’s Home. I suppose all things must come to an end. We’re all sad to have to go, but excited to see where the rest of this trip takes us. I think that we all have a lot of reflecting to do about our time here. I will for sure be thinking about everything I’ve experienced during this trip for a while. I specifically remember how it felt when the two youngest kids at Arhaus were next to me (or sitting in my lap) at our farewell ceremony. I recognize how special it is to have their trust given what they have been through.
It’s something to see them happy and enjoying themselves in the environment that Arhaus has created. The kids at Arhaus will forever remain in our memories and we are all hoping to return someday.
