Today was our last day at Munaychay. We woke up at 7:15 and had our usual breakfast of scrambled eggs and bread. At 8:00, we headed down to Santa Rosa and began clearing out a space for farming. About an hour into our work it started raining so we went to the house and chilled until lunch. When I walked outside to head to lunch I was amazed at how low the clouds were. I looked across the valley and I could see a cloud that was almost even with me with rain falling down from it.

At lunch Jack and I had a great conversation about American sports and food with the director of Munaychay. After lunch we headed back to the house and set up the computer lab that SStS funded.
There was an opening ceremony for the computer lab and the children were so interested in the new addition to Munaychay.
After that we headed to the rotunda house for a huge send off and thanks party for us. I had so much fun dancing and singing with the the kids and I could tell it brought so much joy to them as well.
We came back and had a bead ceremony and that leads to now when I am in bed journaling and about to fall asleep. I can’t wait for the trek to start tomorrow and to see Machu Picchu on Monday. Goodnight!
