We started the day off, strong with some delicious French toast and fruit. We continued onto the boats to a new community in the mangroves of Bastimentos by the name of Bahia Honda. Our assignment was to paint a newly constructed cafeteria. We got to meet the imfamous monkey on the island, Poncho. We painted for about 3 hours and left the house with a beautiful blue and teal exterior. We headed back and had lunch and then went our separate ways to volunteer in the community centers in Basti and San Cristobal. The Basti crew led an obstacle course and in San Cristobal we colored and had a trivia race. We had pizza for dinner and wrapped up with a quick kudos and rose, bud, thorn so that we could get to bed after a big day of volunteering. We are all really looking forward to snorkeling and are having a lot of fun!
