Yesterday, most of our time was spent making and pouring 15 individual piles of concrete. We had some small breaks between mixing, and it was great to be able to play with the children. We were standing in the field area between the two school buildings. The children had a break time in the schoolyard, and we decided to take out a frisbee and see if we could get the children involved in the game. Some of us tried tossing the disk near them in hopes that they would join us. Eventually, they caught on, and we had a great time. The whole experience was just to prove that vocal communication isn’t the only form of communication. It makes you remember that the world is one, no matter how divided, separated, or broken it may seem.
