[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text letter_spacing=””]Today, we had a big morning storm and all ended up teaching and playing at the community center in Bastimentos. There were so many fun activities happening today, but the highlight of my day would definitely be skateboarding with a group of local kids and fellow group members. In the back of the community center they have this little, but steep, half pipe that many kids practice their Tony Hawk skills on (and believe me it is scarier than it looks). When we willingly hopped on the half-pipe they taught us how to move back and forth and thoroughly enjoyed laughing at us when the skateboards flew into the air and we fell on our butts. They would hold our hands and swing us so that we would know what it was like to be actually good at it because the moment we let go we’d spin out of control. But by the end, I bet we’ll be able to not get laughed at (hopefully) 🙂[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
