Even though traveling was really hard we really enjoyed seeing all of the animals and looking at all of the scenery. In addition, we enjoyed bonding with all the girls and getting to know everyone individually. We stopped for lunch(Soda) at a restaurant that had local Costa Rican food and it was our first local meal of the trip. It was cool learning about the local food and trying out different foods. Once we arrived at the house, we explored all of the nature and amenities. The house faces towards the beach and has a lot of hammocks and nice areas to hangout. There is also a pool in the side yard, which hopefully we will be able to use soon. We created friendship bracelets on the bus and learned different facts about Costa Rica from our bus driver Jose. We learned that the monkeys in Costa Rica eat leaves that make them sedated. Also, about the friendship bridge built by the Chinese. He taught us a lot about the different trees, like the Guanacaste and teak, and the biodiversity of the area.
