[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text letter_spacing=””]After finishing breakfast, we headed to the worksite to continue the project.  We filtered sand and gravel, mixed cement, and moved bricks.  From here, we finally saw some structure build up.

After about four hours of work, we headed back down to the homestay for lunch.  I think this was the point where we realize that as good as Tibetan food is, we couldn’t stomach it for another consecutive meal.  So, after finishing our rice (and jerky, gummy bears, and protein bars), we headed back up to the monastery to pouring rain.

As we tried to wait it out, Ttari introduced tape ball to us.  You pretty much just make a circle and try to keep a little ball of tape in the air.  As simple as it sounds, when you don’t have Netflix, Snapchat, or Xbox for this long, tape ball gets pretty fun.
