Today we woke up excited to go and visit the cacao farms in San Cristobal. We woke up to some freshly made pancakes and some delicious pineapple. We then took a long boat ride to San Cristobal. We got to San Cristobal and were welcomed by so many kids. When we got to the Cacao farm we were welcomed with a fresh and natural delicious chocolate drink. During the Cacao farm tour, we learned that the amount of cacao being produced has decreased a lot more throughout the years due to climate change. We were so excited to be able to see the process of how to make chocolate and had the chance to give it a try ourselves. After the amazing tour, we had some good juicy chicken with rice and beans. We then had the chance to have a very fun time in the centers with the kids. We were able to see very exciting soccer games in San Cristobal. We had to sadly leave San Cristobal having to say goodbye to the kids for the day excited to see their smiling faces tomorrow. We ended the day with some delicious food.
