After a lunch of yak and potato momos (dumpling native to Tibet), the whole group hung out in the hostel restaurant to play cards. We stayed together for a walk in a park to watch locals feed schools of fish and a bale (editor’s choice) of turtles. Our local cuisine continued with a unique dinner: similar to a fondue using boiling broths and frozen meats and vegetables. Good fun and good eats. We finished our evening with a panda drawing contest.
