The first bead introduced to the Bolivia team was the blue bead. Each of us were asked to assign a definition to the bead and I chose curiosity. The curiosity to discover the infinite skies above, and the endless depths of the sea. Blue is calm, cool, and collected; necessary for the exploration of the unknown. Every one of us has exhibited curiosity in some manner. Whether it’s John petting spiders, Sydney exploring every single store in Rurrenabaque, or the group eating at a different restaurant for every meal. Curiosity is a part of why we were all picked to go on this trip, and even if it’s not, we all had to be curious enough to investigate what Shoulder to Shoulder is. The Bolivia team is full of curious people who all want to help make the world a better place.
