I’ll finish the rest of the story later, but one thing that has been really fun is the construction we’ve been doing. To start, we dug a huge ring in the dirt. We brought down bags and bags of sand and rocks. We mixed it with powdered cement & water, and then it became concrete. We poured the concrete to make the ground more solid. Then, we took these stones that are kinda like mini boulders and stacked them in the ring. We mixed sand, concrete, and water and made it a mortar to lay the stones. Higher up on the property has been a similar thing, it’s basically just building a structure. Working with the people that live here and getting to know all of the people has been awesome. I love the food and the “Kenyan Tea” is so good that I’m practically running on it (shhh pls don’t get mad at me and say it’s bad nutrition). But, of course, I’m excited to be home. I will see you and the dogs in a flash!!
