This trip has made me learn a lot and has made me feel comfortable feeling uncomfortable. I’ve learned lots about turtles from Turtle Trax, like how turtles lay eggs and how to best care for them.
For example, we began making a hatchery to safely hatch the eggs without the risk of robbers. I have also learned how to make time pass faster without electronics and I’ve gotten accustomed to cold showers.
This has been an amazing trip so far, and I have learned lots.

I learned a lot from Turtle Trax, how to adjust to uncomfortable living environments, and how to pass time without my phone. Also people from all around the world are very cool as well and I talked to Joswa and Santiago a lot. Also how well the locals speak English. I also got to clear my mind without phones and time passed just as fast because I got into my book and having fun with everyone.
I also learned to adjust to cold water showers. Overall I loved the experience at Turtle Tracks and I will use the lessons I learned there later in life.
