Today, our group woke up bright and early and prepared to go into the swamp. We had an early breakfast and then headed on our hour and a half drive out to the launch point on the lake. We split into groups on boats full of bags filled with California Bullrush. They scattered our groups...
Our Cambodia instructors report that the group had a great 4th of July which they spent participating in a ceremony led by monks before eating together with the community. They hope to have a student journal post about the experience to the home office as soon as they connect to Wi-Fi.
Filled with enthusiasm for the group, the course instructors called to share the students’ early engagement and investment in this field study’s layers of purpose. After a day of work at KACH, I think they ran out of steam for a “post,” though I am assuming we will enjoy a student post tomorrow.
