The Kenya team has safely arrived in Nairobi to start their journey. Late in the evening after a long journey, we don’t expect to hear from them until tomorrow. I made this journey with last year’s group – this in an exciting yet exhausting moment!
Waking up to the dogs barking and pigeons happy outside me and Emma’s window was a gentle reminder that I was far from home. We are now approaching the end of this trip with only one full day remaining at the community center. This trip has been a whirlwind of fun, emotions, learning, and connections. I can’t even begin to explain how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to spend the last two weeks in the community...
