Everyone has their preferred travel packing style, so please use the download below as a helpful guide and be mindful of your own needs.

As you pack, you can expect pleasantly warm days and humid but cool evenings. Daytime highs around 78 °Fand nighttime lows around 65°F. Please note that Huanchaco is a coastal city in the desert. Being close to the equator, the sun is intense, so hats and sunscreen are a must.

SStS strongly encourages each student to visit a local “travelers clinic” or international health care practitioner who can advise you personally on your specific needs and questions. We can not give specific recommendations other than following the CDC’s recommendations, which are linked below.

Flights

All students will be booked on a group flight from Denver, Colorado (DEN). Once all participants are registered, we will purchase the tickets and share the information as soon as we have it.
