Everyone has their preferred style of packing for travel, so please use the download below as a helpful guide and be mindful of your own needs.

As you pack, please remember that June is the start of the rainy season in Costa Rica, and you can expect lots of sun and high temperatures with daily rain showers. Daytime highs range from 86-94°F with nighttime lows between 76-84°F.

SStS strongly encourages each student to visit a local “travelers clinic” or international health care practitioner who can advise you personally on your specific needs and questions. We can not give specific recommendations other than following the CDC’s recommendations, which are linked below.

All students are booked on a group flight from the gateway city of Atlanta, GA (ATL).

Coyote: While in San Francisco de Coyote, the group will stay at a small local hotel. Students will stay in dorm-style rooms of 3-4 students per room, each with their own bed.
