  • Eligibility: 10th-12th grade students (exceptions made for 9th graders on request)
  • Meetings: 1 scheduled meeting per week. All meetings will be recorded.
  • Time commitment: 2-3 hours per week of independent work.
  • Cost: $500 (GSC Members)/ $750 (Nonmembers) *Financial Aid is available

Along with the new friendships, I was also able to identify and nurture a passion of mine that I hope I will share with the members of my club next year. This workshop taught me the importance of group support and constructive feedback, and that with work and the right support, a group of students can follow their passions.

FAQ

There will be one required meeting per week (approx. 60 minutes). Students should also plan to spend 2-3 hours per week working independently.

Students Shoulder-to-Shoulder will provide you with a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation to document this experience upon request. We can also work with your school to provide the documentation necessary for elective credit (your school has the right to make the final decision).

We know these are difficult times and want to offer this course to anyone that is invested in doing it so please do not hesitate to request a scholarship if it is needed.
